Merry Christmas! (in the beginning)

After the kids figured out not to put every ornament on the same branch...they became professional Christmas Tree decorators and our tree came out SPECTACULAR!!!
I just love how they help each other out...Music to my ears.

This had to be one of those great mommy moments. Magus was being such a wonderful big brother helping Natavia. He was so gentle with her and explained how and why we do this.

After all the hard work...its done!

Magus and Neferius worked really hard and helped me a lot. So it was time to rest.

It's amazing to me how a Christmas tree can change the feeling of your home. I really love the feeling that Christmas gives. The angels are very present.

Lil Natavia Turns 1!!!!! Happy Birthday Natavia!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATAVIA ANIESE....

She turned 1 today and loved it. She especially loved it when her sister and brothers would sing "Happy Birthday to you." Genavieve had lots of fun all day singing it. We had a great day!
Natavia really likes Elmo. She has never seen him besides this doll that she is holding, but he sings and she loves it.


I decided to do Elmo for her birthday since she Elmo makes her smile. The cupcakes were for the kids and the big Elmo was all for Natavia. Amazingly this was the hardest cake....Im really investing in some cake decorating untensils this year.

Reindeers???

This cow was so huge. It kept looking at us, and then it looked like it had to go to the bathroom, so we left in a flash!

We went on a nice drive in our area and the kids spotted a buck. But the kids had there heart set on the fact that it was one of Santa's reindeers and his wife (who is not pictured) . It was really cute.

Per his request, Ro asked for a dinosaur cake. So...he got it! I tried with all my heart to give him a cool 3D cake...and it worked until about 3 minutes before we put the candles in it when the dinosaurs head tried to eat the cake plate!
But he still loved it....and was so surprised that he got a GREEN dinosaur (his favorite color).
He is so content...and waiting patiently to dip his fingers in it.

One day the girls were sitting on the couch watching some cartoons...so happy..when...

Ro-Ro came in and had to give his lil sister some love. Its so amazing how they all support eachother and love one another and then can make eachother cry in another minute! But its all unconditional!

The boys bike riding again! They love riding through the fallen leaves!

Now that the day is over...we will prepare for Thanksgiving and Ro's birthday the day after that. Whew... what will December bring! Lots of good stuff I hope!!!!

The big brother to the rescue...It was so funny...Natavia was taking the unopened presents from behind Genavieve and opening them. She was really focused on this one because Genavieve was occupied, so she was able to actually open it and see what was inside without it being taken away. Such a smart cookie!

She even tried to hide by daddy...but daddy did the right thing and had her give it back.

The kids were so excited! And when Genavieve saw that the cake was pink in the middle...it just made her day!

My lil Faerie's Birthday...

My attempt at Genavieve's TinkerBell cake. I had so much fun freestylin this cake! We celebrated her 2nd birthday! She requested a TinkerBell cake and was so happy when she woke up and saw her cake.
I am not a cake decorator, and do not have supplies, but I realized I enjoy it very much. And with all the kids we have, I might as well invest in some good tools. (I made a promise never to buy a store bought cake for birthdays...and the kids love it!)
And her facial expression was so perfect...it made it worth it! All day long she kept peeking in the fridge to make sure "her cake" was still there. Ahhhh! so good to be a mommy!

It's Dress Up Time!!!!

Our Tribal Faerie is growing so fast! She is discovering the "dress up" stage. Its so fun to watch her play. She loves to get dressed up, take her purse and baby and go to the store to go grocery shopping. And she is really good at involving her lil sister in her adventures. These are a few gifts from her Nani, Papa and lola for her birthday that she dislikes taking off at the end of the night.
