Magus' kindergarten class showing off the prize pumpkins....

Magus and I went on a field study with his kindergarten class to a really interesting farm. In his class they are learning about insects with the focus on bees. They have learned so much about the body of a bee, lifestyle and there gifts to the world. Magus really loves insects and has found a new respect for all the hard work bees do.
We had lots of fun going to the farm and seeing the chickens, turkeys, geese, horses, cows, bunnies, bees and pumpkins. However, Magus' favorite part was eating the honey sticks...go figure :)

Our Friendly Neighborhood Spider....

Over the past month or so, our lil town has become invaded by SPIDERS! They are EVERYWHERE !!! We have our own in our patio and lots in the backyard. But here is friend "Shadow" that has been taking residence. He has managed to get rid of all the bugs in the patio...ones that we all really like. Shadow has killed at least 40 rollie pollies. So as of this moment, we are planning to move Shadow out and he has to find a new home. We love rollie pollies too much! But we still think he is really cool looking.

Miss Yemaya Calesia is...9 months already!!!

Lil Yemaya has clearly impressed us. She is ....WALKING! We are so happy...but I am somewhat sad. She is our baby and its hard to see her walking so fast. But... she is doing it and she has so much fun. Her tenacity and determination drive her to do more each day.
She now tries to chase her brothers and sisters...and its hilarious.
She loves to eat fruit, dance, pull hair, talk on the phone and watch Dora with her sisters. The tribe is so good to her. She gets so much love from them. Its amazing how wonderful they are. Genavieve is the greatest babysitter and does a beautiful job at helping mommy take care of her sister. She always knows just what Maya needs. I love my kids :)
